Agave Chocolate Chip Cookies
To celebrate World Chocolate Day we are sharing with you this delicious recipe!
These chocolate chip cookies are made with agave syrup which is a great substitute for sugar and they are super easy to prepare.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1.5 cups Organic Pantry agave syrup
- 2 eggs
- 2.5 cups Organic Pantry whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Method:
Heat oven to 180°C.
Mix butter, agave syrup and vanilla in a bowl, add eggs and beat well.
Slowly add in flour, baking soda and salt and continue to beat until well combined. Stir in chocolate chips. With a spoon drop the mixture on a lined baking tray, 5cm apart.
Bake for 10 mins or until light golden brown, transfer to a rack to cool.
